New EODS III project kicks off

EODS Team

Launched on 10 February 2021, the EODS III project has five main areas of support, which are:

  • Strengthening the EU Election Observation Mission methodology
  • Building the capacity of EU election missions to assess the impact of social media on elections
  • Coordinating the communication strategy for EU election missions
  • Training election observation specialists in EU methodology and key election principles
  • Developing tools to support the operational aspects of EU election observation

The current EODS team includes the key experts:

Holly Ruthrauff (Team Leader)

Francesca Boggeri (Social Media Coordinator)

Claudia Aranda (Communications Coordinator)

Jordi Barrat (Training Coordinator)

Supporting team:

Giorgio Grasso (Editorial & IT specialist) supports the project in information technology and editorial activities, Nuno Loureiro (Project Officer) is responsible for administrative matters, and Maria Maouni (Finance Officer) is responsible for finance issues.

The current EODS III project is implemented by a consortium led by GIZ, which includes Democracy Reporting International (DRI) and Memo98 as partner organisations.
