Like the event held in June 2026, this initiative aimed to prepare analysts to assess and report on emerging challenges and it is part of the European Union's efforts to develop an election observation methodology that addresses these evolving issues.

The event included participants from previous EODS training for Media and Social Media Analysts, as well as experienced Media Analysts (MAs), Social Media Analysts (SMAs), and Press Officers (POs) deployed in previous EU Election Missions.

The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of the experts to identify, categorise, analyse and report on information and content manipulation in the electoral context, using the EODS Digital Toolkit and relevant frameworks.
